I might have gone a little nuts with this. Maybe. But all of the stuff was so gorgeous that I had to get it! That's always the excuse, I know, but I did it anyway. And I am so happy I did.

My mom and I headed to good ol' JC Penney to look for a green cami. We exited with a huge bag full of clothes, a JCP card, and double Wednesday points. I did find some wicked deals, though, so I'm not so upset about the amount of clothes we came out with.

From the magical lands of Ikea and North Carolina

I recently took a trip to Ikea in Bollingbrook, Illinois for a bit of college decoration, in addition to my purchases from North Carolina. My dorm room last year looked great, but I wanted a few things to spice it up this year for my roommate and I. We're both stylish people, so we deserve some sleek finishes and nice things, right?

During the past month, I've been shopping around for a variety of new beauty items for fall. Back to school is approaching, no matter how much we all deny it, and I'm planning on making the best of my college return using these variety of amazing products.

Accessory Haul

Nothing works more than a necklace or a bag to complete a look. I've had trouble embracing jewelry in the past, since I love when shirts or pieces themselves are embellished, but I've recently been trying to get into the statement necklace vibe. Hopefully I'm succeeding? As far as bags go, though, I've never had one quite as special as this one...

When I went to Warped Tour, I thought I would budget for one shirt and maybe a CD. I ended up leaving with three shirts, a CD, and a poster.

I'll admit it: I'm usually stingy on my hair care so that I can spend more on makeup, music, and clothes. But lately I've been switching up my hair products from just the basic Herbal Essences Smooth Collection shampoo and conditioner I usually use. My hair thanks me, even if my wallet doesn't.

About five years back, my family got wind of a giant shoe warehouse just a few miles from our hotel in Asheville, North Carolina. We found the Discount Shoe Warehouse, and a tradition was born. Every year, we have to stop by the store to find all of our special shoes for the upcoming year. I might have gotten a fair few this time around... Oh well.

I went to H&M with my friend the other day, since I had been in a couple days previously and knew they had their super sale going on. Plus, my local mall just remodeled their store, so the whole H&M is the size of two stores. The women's side takes up what the whole store was before! It's all white and shiny and beautiful, and that made us want to buy everything. Dangerous.

One of my favorite summertime activities is shopping for great clothes that I can wear into the school year. Over the past month, I've found some awesome deals and steals (as well as a few splurges...) that will help create the foundation for Fall Term 2014 and beyond. But I seem to have been on a kick, since all of these items have that one little thing about them that makes them stand out!

Haul

The art of driving horses requires more than just talent--it requires a fail safe wardrobe, as well. This is good for me, since it means I get to go shopping for statement pieces that can double in my everyday attire. Recently, I've been shopping for a lot of big necklaces and earrings that will stand out in not only the ring, but everywhere else.
